BENTON, Ark. (KTHV) - A Benton man is in custody for allegedly abusing a three-month-old baby.
Benton police took the report Monday Feb. 20. Police say a three-month-old baby had been taken to a local hospital suffering from a broken leg and cracked ribs.
Police arrested Christopher Williams, 30, and charged him with endangering the welfare of a minor and first degree battery. Police say Williams knew the baby and it was not a case of a stranger harming the child.
Williams was transported to the Saline County Detention Facility.
