Women found bound, beaten in Saline Co. home | News
ALEXANDER, Ark. (KTHV) - After a woman called police hysterically, authorities found two more women bound and beaten in a Saline County home.
"The girl was telling us that they were killing the girl that they would kill her to get her out of there. She was begging for safety. She needed help and said that this lady had them tied up in a room with duck tape," said a Saline County residents who wants to be identified as "Irene" out of fear for her safety.
Irene said she and her son stopped to help the woman. She said they took her to their church to call authorities.
Tuesday, police were sent to New Life Baptist Church about a false imprisonment call. When they arrived, they found a hysterical woman who said she had just escaped from having her wrists zip-tied and being physically attacked at a trailer on Avilla Vicentage, about a mile from the church.
She also said there were two more women who were still inside bound with duct tape being attacked in the back room of the trailer. The victim said two men, David Lee and Shane Wilson, and a woman, Tameria Moore, were carrying out the attacks and that if she didn't get back to them, the three threatened to beat the other two women to death.
"Officers arrived on the scene and found the women who had been beaten up," said Lt. Scottie Courtney with the Saline County Sheriff's Department.
Police found the other two women bound in the back room of the trailer at 2015 Avilla Vicentage Road. All three suspects were arrested and charged with false imprisonment, second degree battery, and terroristic threatening.
"What happened over there is so out of the ordinary it's hard to believe," said Jerry Pelton, a neighbor who lives across from where the alleged attack happened.
Wilson is being held in lieu of $150,000 bond, while the others are being held in lieu of $100,000 bond each. According to the sheriff's office, Wilson had a previous record with law enforcement.
Courts dates have been set for Feb. 12 at 1 p.m. for all suspects.
